Fashion Rocks: Hair of the Dog Tomorrow!!!

The Fanshawe College Fashion Merchandising students are putting on "Fashion Rocks: Hair of the Dog" fashion show tomorrow, Thursday, November 22nd. And, it's featuring none other than Lolita and Frilly's amazing clothing and accessories!

Tickets are $20 and can be purchased at both Lolita and Frilly tomorrow with all proceeds going to Paws-United Dog rescue. The show is happening at Fanshawe in Forwell Hall. Doors open at 7pm, and the show starts at 8pm! Don't be late!!!

January can seem a little on the quiet side in the retail world, but that's actually far from the truth.

The semi-annual Accessories Show happens this weekend and yours truly will be combing for treasures to adorn the stores and ultimately, YOU!
The big trends this year in jewellery are chokers, lucites, big earrings
Lots of colour and lots of gold metals.
You'll still see vintage to go with all the feminine frilly clothing this season.
Something we haven't seen for a while, pastels-in everything, clothing, accessories, handbags, you name it.
Bags this year can be big or small, both are trending. Look for lots of crocodile textures and, of course,
colour to compliment the other big trend this year, lots of bright colour-blocked clothing.

I first saw this line at one of the showrooms when I was in LA, and was so excited when it arrived in Canada this season.
